ABOUT AGAPE LOVE
Agape Love is a deeply personal project from Wingy Danejah, blending his Jamaican roots with reggae, gospel, hip-hop, R&B and contemporary melodic influences. Created through seasons of love, loss, reflection and spiritual growth, the album explores the many dimensions of love while carrying a consistent message of faith, hope and healing. Produced by Frost Beatz and Ayekeplaydat (Kent Murphy), mixed by Frost Beatz and mastered by Vincent Sims, the project brings together an international collection of collaborators, including Da’Ville, Steven Malcolm, Toyalove, Mike Teezy, V. Rose, Kidd Lee, Hanna Barr and Bri Smilez. From vulnerable records such as “Letter from a Broken Heart” to the uplifting spirit of “Agape Love” and the global sound of “Si Mi Yah,” the album represents Wingy Danejah’s evolution while remaining grounded in his faith and Jamaican heritage.

What they're saying
One of the album’s most personal tracks is Letter From A Broken Heart, a poignant reflection on a failed relationship.
Howard Campbell,
Jamaica Observe
This album is very personal. It reflects my pain, my growth, my faith, and my relationship with God. Knowing that someone may hear these songs and realise they’re not alone is the greatest reward.

The Elders have threatened to pull an “Irish Goodbye” before, but there are too many stories left to tell. The Spirits and The Sea captures the immigrant’s journey. Of farewells and new beginnings. As usual, the band’s sharp writing and striking melodies bring those stories close to home. Even if you didn’t leave your father back in Ireland you will feel the soul and spirit of the people in your life in this music. Another rousing release from Kansas City’s favorite Irish melody makers!
Bryan Truta,
Senior Director of Radio Operations, 90.9 The Bridge
True to the Irish spirit of storytelling, The Elders new release, the spirits and the sea, guide us in the journey from Ireland with the magic of their music. You can feel the lift of the sea and the movement of the ship through their instrumentation, and you live the heartbreak and the hope through the stories of the lyrics.
