Over 50 years after its radio debut, The Girl Who Faded Away has reemerged — more resonant than ever. Co-written by Tom Guernsey of 60s garage rock band The Hangmen, the song resurfaced after his passing, when a rare acetate copy was passed to his close friend and bandmate, George Daly.
